Notice: Winter Temporary Enshrinement at Chusha Shrine On Wednesday, January 7th, we will hold the “Godoza-sai” ceremony. During the winter season, the spirits of the deities from Okusha and Kuzuryusha shrines will be moved and enshrined together at Chusha . For the next few months, three major deities will be honored together at Chusha. Due to heavy snow and icy conditions, the paths to Okusha and Kuzuryusha are difficult and dangerous to access. Please offer your prayers at Chusha or use the remote prayer spot (Yohai-jo). (Note: You may walk as far as the entrance of the cedar-lined path at the Okusha approach.) The Okusha shrine is scheduled to officially reopen in late April.
